About Us

Our Mission

At Creative Nectar Studio, we practice process art as a tool for accessing creative flow and tapping into the juice of our creativity. This opens the channel to intuitive heart wisdom, leading to integration, healing, and liberation – both in our personal lives and contributing to the awakening consciousness and transformation of our world.

Our Founders

Stephanie Gray and Jenny Hahn founded Creative Nectar Studio to offer a safe haven for those seeking a deeper connection to their intuitive wisdom through process art and accessing creative flow.

We are Stephanie Gray and Jenny Hahn; two Visual Artists, Writers, and Creative Transformation Guides each with 25 years experience in the field of creative transformation and process art-making as a practice for spiritual awakening. We are here to support you in your connection to your own creativity.

Creative Nectar “Herstory”

THE BEGINNING

Stephanie Gray and Jenny Hahn met in 1999 while attending workshops with teacher and mentor Sarah Oblinger of Paint or Die Studio in Lawrence, KS (now Studio Exanimo in Dixon, NM). In these workshops they learned how to use process art as a tool for self-discovery. Jenny was at that time a recent art school graduate who received outward accolades but inwardly was suffering from an eating disorder, and Steph came to the process without formal art training but in the midst of overwhelming life challenges and transitions. Each became hooked to process arts in their own way.

LIVING JUICY

After years of doing their own personal process work and seeing the transformative results in their own lives, Stephanie and Jenny joined forces in 2011 to form Creative Nectar Studio and open doors to the public with a storefront space in Mission, Kansas. And rightly so; it was their "mission" to offer a safe haven for creative self-discovery for those seeking a deeper connection.

They provided a schedule of weekly classes and wrote about their own experiences along the way. They also hosted guest facilitators who each brought their own unique flavor to the world of process work. Over time they expanded their reach through on-site process art workshops at various locations across the US, as well as in-person and virtual one-on-one experiences with folks from around the world. They envisioned an awakened world where each person is empowered to create and express their authentic truth. Hundreds of women and men came through the doors of Nectar to experience the freedom of creating with deep self-awareness without concern for the end result.

TRUSTING THE PROCESS

Stephanie and Jenny have since closed the doors to their physical space in Mission KS, but the journey continues forward with the Creative Nectar online community membership portal. Keeping this work accessible to all regardless of location or socio-economic status is important to both of them. No matter your life situation or where you reside, you are invited to find creative inspiration here in the Creative Nectar community.
